Over 91 volunteer Leaders are currently reaching out to kids in our area, doing ministry at 6 local high schools and middle schools, as well as newer Young Life College and Capernaum ministries being started and developed. Each leader spends 6-10 hours each week in the world of kids, which means 1,800 hours/week, 7,200 hours/month, 64,800 hours/year in the world of kids with the hope they hear and believe in a God who loves them beyond anything they could ever imagine.
There are 14,281 middle school and high school students in our area. Each one of those teenagers has the right to hear the news about Jesus Christ and the great love He has for each of them. Currently, 7 schools in our area have Young Life ministry, reaching out to 10,210 teenagers.
Since 1941, Young Life leaders have walked with kids and earned the right to be heard in an exhausting and exciting world. In 2018, 348,000 kids were involved every week all around the world.
